Supermarket.lk is Sri Lanka's favourite online retailer which is owned by Premium Global Foods Pvt Ltd and is part of a group of companies that are one of the larger importers of fast moving consumer goods into Sri Lanka. Initially established in 2004 as a wholesaler the Group currently supplies a number of top retailers in Sri Lanka.  

This website aims to provide amazing deals direct to the end consumer both in terms of price and quality. Supermarket.lk now has the best prices compared to any other similar website with an unmatched range of exclusive gift ideas. When sending gifts to your loved ones, you would want the assurance that the gifts are the very best. We understand that and have partnered with only the most reputed suppliers.

This website also carries designer brands which have been selectively handpicked by our inhouse experts based on the latest trends and fashion. The branded items displayed are authentic and are purchased from reputed distributors and resellers. We have representatives in London and USA for assistance with product sourcing. The prices are attractive because the products are either stock excesses from specific stores overseas or are designs from season end – all brand new, genuine and authentic. Selling counterfeit items is a violation of law in Sri Lanka.  Please note that only limited quantities of each design is available and we do not handle bulk orders.

When you receive the product you will note immediately that the products are of high quality. In the unlikely event it is not in conformity/according to exact specifications (excluding flowers and other perishable items) please contact us within 5 days. This can be done by using the 'Returns' option or by e-mail. Further details are available under the Returns Policy section under Terms and Conditions.

We will provide dedicated support which is especially important for customers based overseas. Please e-mail us on info@supermarket.lk for any queries or specific product requests. Due to high demand some products may be out of stock. Please write to us and we can advise when stocks are expected.

The Group has its registered office in Colombo-7 with a dedicated warehouse based in Wattala. However for perishable items we aim to deliver direct from vendor locations.

 

Frequently Asked Questions

 

What is the delivery coverage and time taken?

Non perishable items can be delivered anywhere in Sri Lanka and perishable items upto 60km from Colombo e.g Bentota. Deliveries can be made within 24 hours with the exception of outstation areas (eg. Nuwara Eliya) which can take upto 48 hours excluding Poya days.  Deliveries from certain vendors may take up to 48 hours. There are no additional charges for deliveries unless specifically stated in the Product desciption. Deliveries can be made upto 10 p.m.

 

Can I order without registering?

 Yes. You can either order as a 'Guest' or choose to register as a 'Member'. 

 

Can I give Special instructions or a Personalised Message?

Yes. As part of the check-out process you can mention any Special Instructions (e.g. evening delivery only) It is also recommended that you give additional details on the delivery location. Unless it is a surprise please mention the recipient's telephone number. 

A card would also be sent with the item (gift wrapped if required) so please include your Personalised Message when ordering.

 

What are the payment options available?

 

How do i use a discount code or an electronic gift voucher?

After selecting the required products proceed to the checkout page. Click on the link on the top right hand corner which refers to discount codes/gift vouchers which will re-direct you to the page where the code can be entered.


Are any of my credit card details stored on your website?

Credit card details are not stored on our website and information goes direct to Global Payments Asia Pacific Ltd's server. Please view the Privacy Policy for further details.

 

Do I get an order confirmation and a delivery update?

An automated e-mail would be sent to you on completion of the ordering process and a further confirmation would be sent to you after delivery.

 

Can we make returns?

  
If the item is not according to the specifications in the order form (eg: wrong colour) it can be returned within 5 days of delivery. This can be done by using the 'Returns' option or by e-mail. Further details are available under the Returns Policy in Terms and Conditions.

 

Is there a product warranty?

Warranties are given only for watches and the warranty card is included within the packaging with the authorised agent details. If any other item has a warranty it would be specifically stated in the product description. The customer can contact the authorised agent direct to exercise the warranty. Alternatively for any assistance you can contact us by phone or email. 

 

Can I request for a cake or flower with a specific design or another special request?

Yes. Please e-mail us at info@supermarket.lk and we will be happy to assist you. We will load the specific product with the pricing on the website for your purchase.

 

Is there a minimum and maximum order value?

The minimum order value is LKR 1000 and the maximum cap for a single online payment is LKR 20,000.

 

Can the purchase be gift wrapped with a card?

Yes all non-perishable products will be gift wrapped or sent in Supermarket.lk packaging. The wording for the card should be sent to us via the Personal Message field when placing the order.

 

Can I view a larger image of the product?

Can I order an item that is out of stock?

No. If an item is out of stock the user will be notified when commencing the check-out process. Please e-mail us and we will let you know the next stock arrival date.

 

What happens if the recipient is not available at the time of delivery?

If the recipient is not available we will hand over the gift item to an alternative person at the delivery location. If you want to restrict the delivery only to a specific person please state so under Special Instructions during the check-out process.
